Christmas mantel

Good morning

Our mantel is just too warm and cute {at least I think }

 

 

 

we are all about the twinkle lights in this house {minus daddy, he is neutral}

 I got all of my mantel decorations either from
Kohl's, Dollar Tree {they have pretty sweet Christmas decorations}, Goodwill
or Target.
 I am trying to not buy new Christmas decorations
 {minus the few that were calling my name;)}
and instead falling in love with the ones I already have

 

 

outdoor lighting

We hung our outdoor lighting today {insert squeal!}

I love Christmas, everything about it makes my heart so happy!

I remember as a little girl my dad would have our entire outside light display looking like a gingerbread house {melting my heart}

And, since we have lived here we have always done a lot with out lights

{minus the very top story, Jake refuses to climb up that high},

but this year with everything else we decided to keep it very minimal and just do our porch.

It is so simple and cute.
